Meet The Team.
Meet the dedicated coaches and team members that make up the Passmaster team.
Lee Green
Head Coach and Passmaster Coaching Director

Lee has more than 16 years of coaching experience in the UK and overseas, working within schools, football academies, grassroots teams and the community. He has worked with children from as young as three right up to adults.
He is passionate about all sports and loves to work with children of all abilities. In every session his main focus is to make sport fun for everyone and provide a safe environment.
Lee has worked in Australia and the USA bringing back with him a wealth of experience and new ideas. He is always looking for ways to improve and learn. He puts his heart and soul into every session he delivers, matching the energy of the children.
Lee loves all sports, but football is his biggest passion. Lee holds a UEFA B Licence and establishes the 'Passmaster Development Centre’ to help children grow and develop their skills through high-level coaching. Unlike an academy, the centre doesn't ‘release’ players. Its philosophy is about allowing players to express themselves and develop while enjoying their football.
Lee is experienced in coaching players from all backgrounds and abilities including young offenders, children and adults with disabilities and academy footballers, aged 7 to 15. He also upskills teachers to improve their coaching skills.
Steve Green
Director

Steve is a former professional football player who has devoted most of his life to coaching and mentoring young players and inspiring children and young people of all abilities to develop their love for sport and exercise.
When his professional playing career with Shrewsbury Town Football Club ended due to injury, at the age of only 20, he poured all his passion for the game into coaching young people instead.
Qualified as a UEFA B Licence coach, Steve’s coaching career has spanned 46 years, working in professional football academies, grassroots football, schools and the community. He founded Passmaster in 2012 to deliver high quality sporting education to children and young people across Shropshire.
He holds high the values of patience, respect, good manners and fair play and believes in opportunity and quality participation for all, irrespective of ability.
Steve’s ethos has remained unchanged over the years, believing that sports participation not only brings enormous health and social benefits to children, but helps them to develop character-forming life skills that will benefit them throughout their adult lives.
